Runelite Configuration & usage for the DropTracker RuneLite plugin

Installation

You can find the DropTracker plugin on the RuneLite plugin hub.

The current live plugin version is v3.0.1.

Configuration

By simply installing the plugin and enabling it, your drops are tracked in our database.
However, it is highly recommended that you register; as drops from unregistered users are ignored in most places.

You can register by clicking here, or by claiming your first RuneScape account name in our Discord, with /claim-rsn.

Registering in our database helps us to verify that you are who you say you are—and provides you with an authentication token.

If you have an account registered in our database, you should enter your authentication token (/get-token via the Discord bot) in the DropTracker Account section of the plugin configuration.

The plugin Configuration allows You to select what you want screenshots to be taken for:

• Collection Logs
• Combat Achievements
• Personal Bests (only on a new PB)
• Valuable Drops

You can also define what minimum value a drop should be before a screenshot is captured and sent to the database. Note that if your submission doesn't qualify for your group(s)' minimums, a discord message still wouldn't be sent.

It is recommended that you do not set your screenshot value lower than 100,000gp, as excessive screenshotting can cause framerate latency.
A screenshot is taken if a single item exceeds this value. For example, 100 zulrah scales would be considered worth only 249gp.

API Connections

The RuneLite plugin also has inbuilt support for player lookups via the DropTracker database.
By enabling Use API Connections in the DropTracker Account section of the config, you are able to search for yourself or other users of the plugin.
We perform regular cleansing of our connection logs, and do not share your IP or store it anywhere.

There are plans for enhanced API functionality down the line, including event integration--but more to come on that later

Side Panel

If "Use API Connections" is enabled in the configuration, the DropTracker Side Panel allows you to search boss/drop details relating to a specific DropTracker User (If the user hasn't requested their accounts to be hidden). The Side Panel will show the following:

• Link the Discord
• Link to the Document section of the website
• Lifetime GP Earned
• Monthly GP Earned
• Group Rank at Boss
• Global Rank at Boss (if authenticated)
